Ben Barone has over 30 years of executive management/leadership experience in the payments industry having held several senior level management positions including Founder of Progressive Payments Advisors, EVP Retail Solutions for The Kessler Group, President and CEO of RBS WorldPay, EVP Retail Direct for Citizens Bank, VP of Financial Services with The Home Depot, and VP of Marketing for Limited Credit Services.
Barone’s diversified and extensive background and experience in the financial services and payments space brings a unique perspective to payment processing, marketing, card issuing, and private-label products and services. In 2009, Barone established Progressive Payments Advisors, LLC, an advisory service focused on providing best-in-class payments strategies to retailers. Barone has a consistent track record of success formulating and executing sustained profitable growth strategies and has demonstrated leadership in solving complex business issues and motivating people to peak performance.
Mr. Barone holds a BA degree from George Mason University. He earned certification from the University of Michigan Executive Leadership Forum and has served on the board of directors for Kroger Personal Finance, RBS WorldPay and RBS National Bank. He has also served on several advisory boards for the NRF, MasterCard, Visa, Discover and First Data.
